Three
generations
on the
same road
From a farmer in Dossena who sold his cattle to buy a Coach, to today's fourth generation.
In the 1950s, Zani Giovanbattista fu Evaristo, born in Dossena, sold his livestock to take his first steps in passenger transport.
That gamble gave rise to Autoservizi f.lli Zani s.n.c. in 1961, by which time it already had six coaches for hire: a Fiat 626, two Fiat 642s, a Fiat 680, a Visconteo and a Tigre OM.
When the founder died, the company passed to his sons Evaristo, Rocco, Felice and Giacomo, who kept expanding the business through hard work until it had a large fleet of its own.
In the 1990s the Zani group split, and Giacomo took over Autoservizi Monti.
Today Autoservizi Monti Tours s.r.l. is run by his children Alessandro, Evaristo, Simone and Giovanna, who carry on their father's and grandfather's work with passion, sacrifice and entrepreneurial spirit.
What that means today
It means the drivers have been with us for years and know the routes. It means grandad's vintage Coach is still in the fleet, and still goes to weddings. And it means the person who answers the phone is the same family that has run the company for 75 years.
